Root canal treatment is the procedure patients fear most, and the one many young dentists feel least prepared for. At Dr Agravat Dental Implant & Endodontic Academy, you learn modern root canal treatment the way it is practised in a busy clinic: accurate diagnosis, clean isolation, rotary shaping, thorough disinfection, 3D obturation and, when the case allows, single-visit RCT with the EndoDeck™ system.
Learn from a clinician who still treats patients every day
Your mentor is Dr Bharat Agravat, who has practised in Ahmedabad since 1999 and completed a Mini-Residency in Advanced Endodontics at the University at Buffalo, USA. He is named as an innovator of the EndoDeck endodontic system and has trained dentists in implantology and endodontics for many years. You learn protocols that are used on real patients in his clinic, not just theory from slides.
What you will learn
| Module | What you will be able to do |
|---|---|
| Diagnosis and case selection | Read pulp and periapical tests with X-rays, and decide between RCT, retreatment, referral or extraction |
| Isolation | Place a rubber dam quickly on anterior and posterior teeth |
| Access and canal location | Design conservative access cavities and find MB2 and calcified canals |
| Working length | Combine an electronic apex locator with RVG confirmation |
| Rotary NiTi shaping | Use a glide path and rotary files safely, and avoid ledges and separation |
| Irrigation and activation | Follow an irrigation protocol with sonic or ultrasonic activation |
| 3D obturation | Seal canals with warm or bioceramic obturation techniques |
| Single-visit RCT | Know when to finish in one sitting, and when to stage treatment |
| Restoration after RCT | Plan the core and choose the right crown material |
| Patient communication | Explain RCT, cost and aftercare so patients say yes with confidence |
Hands-on with the EndoDeck system
EndoDeck™ is a digital root canal workflow that brings imaging, apex location, rotary instrumentation, irrigation activation and 3D obturation together at one workstation. During the course you watch the complete EndoDeck workflow on clinical cases and practise each step yourself under supervision.
The single-visit root canal technique, in brief
- Diagnose and planClinical tests, RVG and, where needed, CBCT. Confirm the tooth is restorable and suitable for one sitting.
- Anaesthesia and rubber damProfound anaesthesia and complete isolation before access.
- Access, glide path and working lengthStraight-line access, patency, apex locator reading confirmed with an X-ray.
- Rotary shaping with irrigationCrown-down rotary preparation with copious irrigation and activation between files.
- Dry and obturatePaper-point drying, master cone check, then 3D obturation with sealer.
- Seal and restoreImmediate coronal seal and a plan for the final crown.

Frequently asked questions
Who is this root canal training for?
BDS graduates, interns completing their degree, general dentists who still prepare canals by hand, and clinicians who want to add rotary and single-visit root canal treatment to their practice with confidence.
Is the training hands-on?
Yes. The programme is built around one-to-one mentorship in Thaltej, Ahmedabad. You work through access, shaping, irrigation and obturation yourself, with live demonstrations of the EndoDeck workflow.
Will I learn single-visit root canal treatment?
Yes, including when not to do it. Case selection is a core part of the course: you learn which teeth can be completed safely in one sitting and which need staged treatment.
Do I need my own rotary motor or files?
Ask on WhatsApp before your batch. The academy will tell you what is provided and what to bring, and can advise you on choosing a motor, apex locator or file system for your own clinic.
How long is the course and what does it cost?
The EndoDeck single-visit root canal masterclass runs over two days with one-to-one mentorship. For current dates, fees and seats, message 098257 63666 on WhatsApp or see the full masterclass page.
Do I get a certificate?
Participants receive a certificate of completion from Dr Agravat Dental Implant & Endodontic Academy, along with guidance on their early cases.
